Revant Optics, the world’s largest direct-to-consumer replacement lens brand, is looking for a part-time Office Manager to become a key contributor to our team and culture. In this role, you’ll support our leadership team and maintain daily office operations, while also organizing team events and managing essential logistics like facilities and security. It’s a hands-on opportunity to learn how a values-driven local manufacturing company operates, with exposure to a wide range of functions. Whether you're passionate about event planning, HR, or executive support, this role offers a solid foundation and clear pathways for professional growth in any of those areas. This is a part-time position working 24 hours a week from our office located in The Pearl.

  • Hourly pay, starting between $22 - $24 per hour (dependent upon experience)

Essential Functions:

  • Coordinate facility maintenance in partnership with the HRBP
  • Partner with the Sr. Manager, Technology and HRBP to manage the security of the building
  • Facilitate the parking and public transportation program and roster
  • Ensure bills associated with the office are delivered to the appropriate departments and people for timely payments
  • Order office supplies and restock groceries 
  • Member of Revant Safety Committee and conducts facility walkthroughs
  • Assist with onboarding to ensure an exceptional employee experience
  • Post and manage job postings using JazzHR
  • Plan and coordinate company and community events
  • Assist with CEO calendar and inbox management 
  • Take notes at Leadership Team meetings as needed
  • Open, scan, and distribute company mail
  • Assemble office furniture 
  • Support members of the Revant Leadership Team with ad hoc administrative activities
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for team members travelling
  • Respond to employee inquiries and assist in answering employee questions related to office operations and company policies
  • Set up computers and other tech equipment as needed for new hires or replacements
  • Grant users access to online applications
  • Triage helpdesk requests and field tickets with external online application support
  • Schedule and coordinate required security awareness training with employees
  • A/V setup for company-wide presentations
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in office management or a related field
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Proficient in Google WorkSpace, Asana, and Slack
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when necessary

Work Environment - In-office

This position operates in an office environment that includes a production and lab setting using optical testing equipment and works around our manufacturing equipment. The environment is often loud due to the air compressors required for manufacturing. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and scanners as we are a technologically driven company. We operate under Good Manufacturing Practices which may at times require wearing safety glasses and closed toe shoes. 

 

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:

  • Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 lbs., as occasional lifting and movement of office-related materials may be required.
  • Use of computer and office equipment.  Proficiency in using computers, keyboards, and other office equipment is essential.
  • Some office-related tasks may require moving around the office, reaching for files, or accessing equipment, necessitating mobility and flexibility.
  • The ability to handle paperwork, operate office machinery, and perform various administrative tasks requires good manual dexterity.

No travel is expected for this position.
